Psychotherapy with me is goal-oriented. We work to understand how certain events have happened in our lives and have shaped our future. Then we examine our reaction to those circumstances, become conscious of our intentions, and move beyond what was previously available to us in our lives. There are many tools and approaches within psychotherapy that allow us to see where we are stuck and identify what is possible once we get unstuck.
In my practice, I treat individuals, couples and families using a variety of cognitive-behavioral and mind-body approaches to healing and creating new beginnings.
I offer meditation training, guided imagery, creative expressive exercises and sometimes movement exercises to illicit insights and breakthroughs.
